Westwood International School (WIS) provides a quality international education that enables students to meet future challenges as confident, socially responsible lifelong learners.

Westwood International School established in 1988, provides international education to children from Reception to Year 13. The entire school has 575 students from 40 different countries. The Primary School goes from Reception to Year 6 with 340 students and a total of 40 staff.

Westwood International School is an International Baccalaureate (IB) World school offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB Diploma Programme). WIS is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS), the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) and the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO). WIS is also a member school of the Association of International Schools in Africa (AISA).

Job Purpose:

We are seeking a Primary Principal who is an inspirational leader. The successful candidate will be resilient, good humoured, able to inspire confidence in all Primary students, teachers and parents alike. The Primary School Principal will provide dynamic leadership in line with the IBO’s and the School’s mission statements.
