Senior Leadership Team

Robert Jones

Head of School

Rob has worked as a successful and creative international school leader in several excellent IB schools on five different continents including twelve years working on the African continent. 

His areas of expertise are: helping schools grow through change, growth, and innovation; in-depth knowledge of all three International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes; sound managerial, financial, and leadership skills; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; commitment to sustainable education. 

Robert is a British passport holder married to his French wife, Martine. Robert is bilingual in English and French and speaks Spanish fluently.

Michelle Jacobson

Secondary School Principal

Michelle is from the USA specifically, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. Since 1998, Michelle has dedicated her career to education, becoming an International Baccalaureate (IB) educator in 2005. 

With over a decade of experience in administration, Michelle has been passionate about shaping educational environments to inspire and empower students.

Frank Vink

Primary School Principal

Frank was born and raised in the Netherlands. 

He worked in international schools for nearly twenty years and brings extensive experience in the IB Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes

Frank has been with Westwood since 2022, after working in IB schools in Cambodia, Azerbaijan, South Korea, and Saudi Arabia.

School Council

Our School Council consists of eight members from a range of stakeholder groups: three founding members, four parent representatives, and one representative from the United States embassy. 

Council members are elected for a period of two years and decide on constitutional and financial matters.
