Marina Prozesky is an accomplished educational leader with extensive experience in International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. Holding a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Coventry, as well as a Master’s in Applied Linguistics from the University of Leicester, she combines academic excellence with practical expertise.
Throughout her career, Marina has held leadership roles in prestigious international schools, including serving as Head of Senior School at Redhill School in South Africa. Her responsibilities have encompassed strategic program development, staff professional growth, and ensuring compliance with IB standards.
Marina is particularly passionate about supporting student well-being, professional development for staff and ensuring academic excellence.
She brings a global perspective, having worked across continents, and remains dedicated to shaping impactful learning experiences for diverse student communities.
Secondary School Principal
Dorothy Tsalwa is a highly skilled educational leader with a Master's degree in Education leadership and extensive experience in the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes. Indeed she has implemented all the three IB Programs, PYP, MYP and DP and her expertise is pertinent to Westwood International School as an IB World School.
In addition to this, she has had extensive workshops with the IBO as well as with AISA , both organisations that international schools world-wide as well as in Africa are affiliated to. She therefore has a great understanding of the IB Programmes and is familiar and experienced with the accreditation processes required to be accredited by international accreditation bodies.
As a senior leadership team member responsible for teaching and learning, Mrs.
Tsalwa has a deep commitment to curriculum development and a strong foundation in pedagogical best practices. She is passionate about creating dynamic, student-centered learning environments that promote academic rigour and personal growth. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, Mrs. Tsalwa aims to work collaboratively with teachers to implement effective instructional strategies and ensure that all students are equipped to succeed in a globalised world.
Primary School Principal
Dr. Faz Moorad is an experienced and passionate educational leader dedicated to fostering an environment where students, educators, and the community thrive. With a career spanning over three decades in academia, educational management, and leadership, he has served as a Senior Lecturer, Head of Department, and most recently, Vice Principal. Now, as the Head of an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary School, Dr. Moorad continues his commitment to excellence in education.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Botswana and Swaziland, a Master’s degree from the University of Sussex, and a PhD from the University of London.
Dr. Moorad’s expertise includes curriculum development and evaluation, teacher training, and driving positive student outcomes through innovative and inclusive approaches. He values diversity and inclusion and is committed to nurturing a culture of acceptance and collaboration among students, staff, and parents.
Throughout his career, Dr. Moorad has mentored educators, led impactful professional development workshops, and built strong partnerships with communities and stakeholders to enhance educational experiences.
With an extensive background in education, Dr. Moorad strives to inspire young minds and guide his team in creating a world-class learning environment. His philosophy resonates with a global focus, promoting international-mindedness and fostering positive inter-cultural understanding. Dr. Moorad remains deeply committed to collaboration and making a meaningful difference in the field of education.
Our School Council consists of eight members from a range of stakeholder groups: three founding members, four parent representatives, and one representative from the United States embassy.
Council members are elected for a period of two years and decide on constitutional and financial matters.
