Facilities

3.4 hectare purpose-built facilities, established in 1988 on the southern side of Gaborone. The campus is shaded by a variety of beautiful mature indigenous trees, emphasizing the importance of a healthy environment.

We offer developmental and competitive swimming in our pool. Our swim team hosts swim meets on campus and travels to other schools in the region.

The school has dedicated multipurpose sports fields for primary and secondary school use.

They are used for Physical & Health Education lessons, as well as during the sports activities of the extra-curricular programme.

The media center sits at the heart of the campus and houses the whole school library and the Primary School ICT lab.

The media center is one of the main research hubs for our students from Reception until Year 13.

Westwood has a 500-seat, purpose-built theater, fully equipped with audio, video, and lighting equipment.

The theater is used to host student assemblies and performances, as well as award ceremonies and graduations.

The school has open-air courts used for a variety of curricular and extra-curricular sports, including tennis, basketball, and netball.

We take great pride in our campus tuck shop. All food and drink available is made fresh and with healthy ingredients. No sweets and soft drinks are sold.

Furthermore, we care deeply about the environmental footprint so are continuously reducing the amount of waste produced.

All waste on campus is recycled by our partner ReWaste. Students and staff use recycling stations to separate the materials to be recycled by major companies in Botswana.

All organic waste is collected in our compost station and sold to community members to be used as natural garden fertilizer.
