We want our students to wear their uniform with pride. Our uniform indicates that we belong to the WIS community. Our uniform policy reflects the school’s ethos of high standards and promotes good behaviour, reinforcing our school’s culture of high expectations and academic achievement.
The school will always source best value for money options for our families, ensuring durability and quality.
Specialised items like skirts, golf shirts, tracksuits, hoodies and swimming gear can only be purchased from the School Uniform Shop, located in the Admin Building.
Monday – Friday 07:00 – 07:30 and 12:45 – 13:30 during term time only.
Holiday opening times will be advertised in advance at the end of each term.
Generic items such as trousers, shoes, shirts and socks can be bought clothing chain stores in Botswana such as Woolworths, Jet, Pep, and Ackermans
Headwear for cultural or religious reasons may be worn, e.g. Hijab, Turban etc., but must be plain in colour.
Outdoor hats should be removed inside the classrooms, but helmets / hats worn for medical / physiotherapy purposes are permitted.

Westwood International School is an English medium international school in Gaborone, Botswana.
