We love to reconnect with our alumni

WIS continues to grow its connection with alumni and we love it when they come by for a quick “hello” – its always fun to relive their fondest memories of being a student.

We’re even more pleased when alumni find ways to stay involved with the school; most recently we’ve had alumni volunteer their time in the PE Department. 2018 graduates, Setso Seleke and Asad Satarov, have been Coach Volunteers for Swimming and Soccer since 2019.

We’ve welcomed back Susan Munyandi from the class of 2019 as a Library Intern until June, after which she plans to enroll in Medical School in fulfillment of her aspiration of becoming a medical doctor.

Her work entails helping the Librarian, Mrs. Wilson with make the library become more appealing and accommodating for the students, particularly the secondary ones, and providing any other assistance that students and other WIS community members may need around the library.

Though Asad has since moved on, both Setso and Susan play an invaluable role of advising their peers in the DP programme.
